About TDIST Excel Function
The TDIST function returns the Student's t-distribution. The t-distribution is a type of probability distribution that is used to estimate population parameters when the sample size is small and/or when the population variance is unknown. The t-distribution is also sometimes called the Student's t-distribution. The TDIST function returns the probability that a Student's t-test will give a result that is greater than or equal to a specified value.
